VANDERBILT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL TOUR
What a day at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt! We enjoyed touring this wonderful Children’s Hospital and hope the sweet kids loved our arts and crafts kits we made them!
ST. JUDE'S UP TIL DAWN
By staying up all night, some Bruins4Peds members and friends had the opportunity to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through Belmont's Up 'Til Dawn! Belmont raised a grand total of $134,000 for donation to pediatric cancer treatment and research! We are so glad we could contribute to a great cause located right here in Tennessee!

CHILD LIFE SERVICES: TOY WASHING
We had the opportunity to give Child Life Services a hand with cleaning toys for patients to use again. We just couldn’t leave without a picture on the newly opened Carell Family grand staircase!

KINDERGARTEN CLASS VISIT
Charlotte Park Elementary School
We loved going to visit 2 kindergarten classes and had the chance to teach the kiddos about hand hygiene, dental hygiene, food and nutrition, and first aid! We had so much fun!
RED BALLOON DAY
In honor of Garrett Helms
Held our first Annual Red Balloon Day in honor of the life of Garrett Helms, son of PPAG Executive Director, Matt Helms 🎈 Garrett was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and later with retinoblastoma at age 10. He loved well, shared his joy with many, and adored red balloons! His story is powerful and continues to affect many!
CAMP SEALE HARRIS FUNDRAISER
American Diabetes Association Camp in Alabama
Bruins4Peds was able to donate $160 to Camp Seale Harris in Alabama! This donation was made in honor of longtime Belmont College of Pharmacy faculty member Dr. Condit Steil who has decided to retire at the end of the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you for your years of service to the people with diabetes and the students of Belmont!

ANNUAL DONATION TO LOCAL CHARITIES
Shalom Foundation; Franklin, TN
Bruins4Peds had the honor of making a $450 donation to The Shalom Foundation located down the road in Franklin, TN! This charity established a surgery center in Guatemala City, Guatemala to serve the Guatemalan people's pediatric population by providing surgeries for children at no cost. The $450 donated was able to cover the cost of one surgery. We hope to be able to help this foundation even more in the future!
